About the Founder
MPC General Construction’s founder and owner, Michael Coakley, brings over twenty years of experience in a broad range of program and project management roles. His spectrum of projects, many multi-year and high-visibility, include public and privately owned commercial and residential facilities; state university OSHPD medical facilities; public works transportation facilities (airports, streets, and highways); and gas and electric utility infrastructure.
A San Francisco Bay Area native, Coakley established MPC General Construction as a means for helping others to accomplish their visions. In pursuit of this, he’s built a solid team of down-to-earth individuals who have integrity, employ a strong work ethic, and treat people with respect.
Our Mission
At MPC General Construction, we have two basic philosophies that provide the foundation for how we do business.
The first is that we do the right thing. Period. We do thorough, excellent work on every project because that’s what we would want on our own projects. What we say we will do, we do. Integrity is one of our core values.
The second is that people matter. Our clients each have their own particular problem to solve for reasons that are important to them. We listen carefully until we understand completely what is needed, and then we give our clients what they want. It’s pretty straightforward, just like us. Our goal is to help our clients get what they need, so they can get on with accomplishing their own goals.
